The No 16-56 Barber Colman Gear Hobbers have 20" and 40" extra-length beds, respectively. These machines are designed specifically for work which is too long for a No. 16-16 Machine. To add to the capacity of these machines, long work can be loaded through the work spindle. When the work extends through the spindle, an overarm extension con be furnished to hold the work between centers. Steady rests are furnished with these long-bed machines I or additional work support.
